Roof Rack - Carrera 996/997 SKU: 99680110500

I expected it to be a least as good for the price as the comparable Thule products, but I don't think it is. Maybe it is just an older design. One of the roof mounts had come apart in the box and I had to play with it for a while to see how to put it back together. A screw had fallen out of the roof rail and was loose in the box. A 6mm washer was gone, but I had one. And one of the barrel screw connectors stripped easily when putting in the screw. So, I switched it with one not being used. It works and looks good. I don's expect it to hold up well when it is mounted and removed several times over the coming months and years. I will be adding a cargo box for occasional road trips. I had considered the Porsche cargo box, but I will skip it and purchase a Thule.
