Upgrade to the latest third brake light assembly.  Replaces the stock version with 'dot' LED lights with an updated version.  Instead of seeing the individual LED lights, this new version has a diffused light design.  That means that the light illuminates as one solid light bar.  An incredibly subtle upgrade.  But once you see the difference, you will love the modern look.  A bolt-on upgrade, must remove the rear hatch trim panels for installation.

Fits 2013-2016 Cayman, Cayman S, Cayman GTS, and Cayman GT4 models.

Looks much better than the stock light but not easy to install!

This upgrade to the stock third brake light looks great now that it's installed.. Rather than the individual LEDs, this looks very much like the LED "glow" from the rear brake lights... Porsche did not make it easy to remove the surround plastic on the back hatch to get access to the third brake light and there are almost no tips out there on how to do it for the 981. The dealer wanted to charge more for the install than for the light itself, so I did it myself. The plastic surround is attached with clips around the inside edge of the window and once all three sides are loosened, it needs to be bent a bit to release it downward to get access to the light. Need to watch the metal clips around the plastic surround as they easily come detached. The light looks easy to access, and it is, however it took quite a bit to get it loose and requires some 90 degree picks or other pulling devises to get it out and need to be very careful not to scratch the heating element or any tint on the rear window. Installing the new light is very easy at this point. So, the light is great! The install more difficult than expected, but def worth it...
