Rear view mirror upgrade

Upgrade your interior rear view mirror to the style used in 2017 models. A more modern looking mirror with less plastic trim and almost frameless appearance. The newer design looks more modern and has cleaner lines. Same overall mirror height, but not as wide on the upper edge. Choose based on your vehicles equipment: select the standard mirror with manual adjustment, or auto-dimming version for an additional cost.

Fits the following models (verify your options):
- All Boxster Models 2013-2016
- All Cayman Models 2014-2016
- All 911 Carrera Models 2013-2016

Due to the delicate nature of the windshield, we recommend professional installation. But overall, this is a plug and play upgrade. If you have the standard mirror, it's not possible to upgrade to auto-dimming. Not sure of your mirror type? Contact us with your VIN number and we can check.

Easy instal (even with auto dimmer). Looks so much better than the Batman style originally in the car. I know purists like 100% original, but for me, if it looks bad, replace it.
Multiple Applications - Self Install with Patience

I've purchased and installed 2 of these mirrors, both auto dimming. The first went into a 2014 Cayman S, the second into a 2016 Cayenne GTS. Both had the "bat mirror" installed from the factory. Installation requires removal of overhead console and mirror trim, but not the headliner. The process isn't for the faint of heart, and you need to be patient. There's a great video online of a Cayenne windshield replacement, and the mirror removal and installation is detailed pretty well. Very happy with the mirror, and worth every penny.
Inexpensive way to improve interior of 981

The 718 mirror was an inexpensive way to add a subtle update to the interior of my 981 Boxster. It complements other upgrades like silver rings for the gauges,an extended height console lid with Crest, and LED foot-well lighting. Needs professional installation. The mirror parts are delicate.
