Great Upgrade!
(North Carolina) | September 19th, 2019
These lights are a great upgrade. Installation took about 10 minutes - the video was very helpful. The LED side maker lights look great in daylight and even better at night!
No Brainer for the 718 Boxster / Cayman Series - takes 5 minutes

Watched a YouTube video online - took all of 5 minutes to switch these out. The cars look so much more modern with the clear turn signal lights with LED. Have used these on previous models and this is always a must mod.
Looks great!

It took me about 10 minutes. I'm a photographer/housewife and not mechanically inclined at all. If I can do it, you can too. Two things to consider. My 2018 Caymen has a clip by the wires - just press down and it'll slide off. Secondly, don't be in a rush to put the new ones in. Clean the area inside the marker slot. The new lights are clean on the edges and will show dirt on the inside lip. I made the mistake, but the new clear markers come out easier than the orange ones.

These side lights really make a nice difference. Shipping was fast, OEM quality Porsche part. Took the advice of another reviewer....use some duct tape on the old side light, little tug and they are out. Took me less than 5 minutes to replace both of them.
Huge improvement!

5 minutes and done! I can't believe the huge improvement in the look of the car. I highly recommend!!
Nice simple upgrade

Took only a few minutes to install (even in sub-freezing NJ temps!) on my 2018 718 Cayman S and are a much better match to the other lighting assemblies than the eyesore amber globs. One note of caution - the lead wires have very little slack so be careful not to let the connectors drop into the openings, otherwise I could imagine it might be a frustrating process.
Here's a tip to make removal a little easier
(Cave Creek, AZ) | December 3rd, 2017
The posted video portrays the removal of the OEM as a simple wasn't for me; and I struggled to get a grip on the OEM light in order to depress the spring clip at the back of the light and release the front tab on the backside. If you cannot get a good grip on the OEM side marker light to slide it rearward, take a length of duct tape (about 2 inches longer than the side marker) and attach it to the surface of the lens. Just press it against the surface of the light (and not the surface of fender) You can then grip the end of duct tape and more-easily slide the side marker light rearward to unhook the front tab of the light. Once I stuck the tape to the lens, it was an easy task to remove the OEM lights. These side marker lights are much better looking than the OEM amber units.
Great, quick upgrade

Installs in minutes, watch the vid. It's the details that make it and this is one of those details. Beautiful!

No idea if this is a Porsche part, but they look nice. Once you figure-out how to get them out, the install is very easy. Pull the light towards the rear of the car and pull front out. Might need a plastic tool to get it to pop out. You do NOT need a screwdriver (geez, that guy in the video...). Just push on the outer side of the electrical connector and it slides right off. Put the new light near the hole, click the connector and snap the light back in. 5 minute job.
