GTA-s Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration kit will give you the ability to add on functions for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to your Porsche existing entertainment system.

To control and switch the apps within CarPlay/Android Auto, is done with your vehicle’s built-in radio controls, or with original touchscreen controls. You will not lose any functions from your original Porsche system, the integration kit will work as an added function.

The kit will come with the required module and all the necessary wires to complete installation in your vehicle.

Please note:


In order for this product to work correctly in a 997.2 & 987.2 (2009-2012), your vehicle would need to have the original iPod/AUX media interface option from the factory in the center armrest compartment.

Have a gen 1 turbo with the 3.0 pcm, took a chance this would work. It did! I have Sirius XM in the car so there’s an extra module in the pcm unit. Fit was tight but easy to install. After installation I had some issues with the sound not working. I emailed GTA, they responded quickly and it was an easy fix. Everything works seamlessly and looks completely stock. Very happy with the system and especially with GTA support. Highly recommend this unit.

The install requires some finessing if you have satellite radio. The posts provided were too tall and consequently some metal needed bending over the cooling fan and only two fastening posts could be used. After meticulous installation of all wires I still do not have audio for any Android auto functions however audio for original PCM functions work accept for my AUXILIARY jack. It's unclear if this is a software issue or a wiring issue.

I ordered this instead of paying twice as much for an XM radio antenna replacement. My car shop installed it and went through simple instructions to operate it. Voice commands work perfectly and every channel on my phone works seamlessly. Changing between my radio and the CarPlay is easy and quick. This is a perfect upgrade to my radio!

Purchased this kit for my 2009 Carrera S and was very impressed! I followed the instructions per the video and the install was a breeze. After completion I had one hiccup that was easily solved thanks to a quick response from the GTA team. 2 items to note are that the circuit board is a tight fit on PCMs with XM module and the GTA harness is a bit bulky requiring a little finesse when reinstalling the PCM.

First do not expect to be able to use the XM radio in your area system. They claim to have extension parts to clear the circuit boards, but I could not get them to work and it didn’t matter to me anyway. Second, the wiring harness is much larger with the adapter that is included, and it took hours to find a way to smoosh all that stuff into the dashboard… In the end, it was certainly worth it. It’s great to have a factory looking set up with CarPlay. Lastley there is a small lag when you’re toggling through songs on your playlist that takes a little getting used to but it’s certainly worth it and I would do it abainhe.
