The downforce level of the vehicle is increased by the installation of various components: additional air deflectors are used in the area of the front wheels, flaps on the front apron and a new rear wing made of carbon.Aerodiscs on the rear wheels, which are also made of carbon, reduce turbulence in the rear end and further increase aerodynamic efficiency. In order to take into account the higher aero load caused by the rear wing, the rear end is massively stiffened. The rear wing itself is connected directly to the body with the help of special supports (GT3 RS without Manthey Kit: connection of the wing to the boot lid). The aerodynamics package was tested, among other things, in the wind tunnel in Weissach, which is still one of the most modern of its kind: The eight-meter diameter blower has extremely light carbon blades and can generate wind speeds of up to 300 km/h in the test section on the tested vehicle.
Coilover kit
Both the know-how and technology from Porsche and Manthey's many years of experience in GT racing were incorporated into the development of the coilover suspension. On the front axle, a MacPherson construction in upside-down design is used. The shock absorber has a housing tube made of high-strength aluminum to reliably and durably perform its wheel guidance task even on the racetrack. The damping unit is 3-way adjustable, and the aluminum support bearings also allow easy adjustment of the camber values on the front axle. The independent compression stage adjustment in low and high speed is carried out on the external reservoir via the adjustment wheels, which can be operated without tools. The rebound damping can also be adjusted via an adjustment wheel at the lower end of the damper housing. If the vehicle has a standard front axle lift system, the function is fully retained. An aluminium shock absorber is used on the rear axle. The 4-way adjustable damper (compression and rebound, in low and high speed) can be adjusted directly on the damper housing via adjustment wheels that can be operated without tools. The basic setup of the high-end chassis components was determined in countless laps on international race tracks, but above all on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, and meticulously tuned by the engineers from Porsche and Manthey.
Brake line set with steel sheathing provides even more direct pedal feedback and a faster response time. This component of the kit was also tested and co-developed by Manthey on the Nordschleife.

Porsche and Manthey
Fits 2018-2019 GT3 RS models. Brake pads, wheels, and decals are not included. Porsche only recommends installation in conjunction with Magnesium wheels (see link below if your car isn't already equipped). Depending on your installation, additional parts/hardware could be necessary at an additional cost. Special order from Germany, contact us for details. For best results and warranty coverage, we recommend having a Manthey certified dealer install this kit.
