The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS is already an uncompromising driver's car in its standard equipment – with the Manthey Kit, it becomes a precision instrument. The potential: 7:03.121 minutes for a lap of the 20.8-kilometre Nürburgring-Nordschleife. In addition to pure performance, which can be seen in the lap time, the focus is on drivability, as with all kits. Predictable reactions and clear feedback from the vehicle are the factors that make the package attractive.

In order to optimise the already excellent facilities of the mid-engine sports car specifically for use on the circuit and at track days, decades of experience in GT racing, complex aerodynamic simulations and countless test kilometres came together. The focus of the development was on the use of new aerodynamic and chassis components as well as an optimisation of the brake system for track day use.

Aerodynamic package With its slightly sharpened design, the aerodynamics package unfolds its full potential, especially in corners. In order to increase the downforce of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS for circuit use, the aerodynamics have been extensively modified. At a speed of 200 km/h, the aerodynamics package increases the overall effect by 80 kg in the non-road-legal performance position, which means an increase in downforce from 89 kg to 169 kg. At the front of the vehicle, flaps and new air curtains with wheel arch gurney significantly improve the ventilation of the wheel arches. The resulting higher downforce at the front axle is consistently continued by the all-new front front diffuser made of carbon. It ensures an ideal flow under the vehicle, which noticeably improves grip, turn-in behaviour and vehicle controllability. Particularly eye-catching: the newly developed fixed rear wing made of carbon with integrated Gurney edge (optional carbon fiber piece, see related item below). In order to achieve the most even distribution of the aerodynamic load, the rear wing, which can be adjusted in four stages, was widened by 85 mm and geometrically adapted to the roof contour. Together with a pronounced offset of the wing blade, which harmonizes the airflow over the entire width, and the newly designed wing endplates with the Manthey logo, this creates optimal downforce. In order to withstand these enormous forces, there is a reinforced body structure on both sides of the inside of the tailgate in visible carbon.

The aerodynamics package, which is harmoniously integrated into the vehicle design, is rounded off by the aerodiscs on the rear wheels, which can be individualised with an optionally available decorative wrap. They reduce turbulence at the rear end and have a positive effect on aerodynamic efficiency. The effectiveness of the extensive measures was demonstrated in the wind tunnel of the Porsche Development Center in Weissach.

Air intake grille Specific grille inserts are included for the side air intakes above the side skirts, which make it much easier to clean the ducts, as coarse dirt such as tyre rubber abrasion is already stopped at the easily accessible entrance into the purge air duct.

The desire for motorsport performance with a high level of suitability for everyday use: a matter of elaborate tests on the race track and on the driving dynamics test bench. The developed set-up is based on a coilover suspension with 4-way damping force-adjustable shock absorbers and adjusted spring rates (+20 % on the front axle) in upside-down design. For the first time, positive displacement technology is used here in upside-down shock absorbers, which enables a much more precise and at the same time faster response compared to the usual design with external adjustment valves. To ensure that no valuable time is lost when precisely adapting to the respective track conditions, the damping forces are easily accessible and can be adjusted without tools in both compression and rebound damping at low and high speed. A compatible variant is available for both vehicles with and without a lift system on the front axle.

Brake line set with steel sheath
The brake line set with steel sheath ensures even more direct pedal feedback and a faster reaction time. This component of the kit was also tested and co-developed by Manthey on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.

The 718 Cayman GT4 RS Manthey Kit sets special accents with illuminated door sill trims made of carbon fibre and Manthey lettering in red and white. In addition, the Manthey lettering can be applied to the vehicle doors in either white or black. Two towing loops are optionally available especially for circuit use. These are available in red, black or yellow and are attached to the front and stern sections in the thread provided for this purpose. Before participating in public road traffic, they must be removed again.
The kit can optionally be extended with a specially designed carbon rear spoiler attachment. The rear spoiler attachment made of visible carbon fibre is fitted to the standard spoiler lip in a form-fitting manner as a supplement to the fixed rear wing. In combination with the high-downforce position of the rear wing, downforce at the rear axle increases by a further 4%.
The performance is visually underlined by the optional louvres made of visible carbon (wheel arch vents). The surface is visually matched to the visible carbon bonnet from the Weissach package – but is also a visual highlight in combination with the front bonnet painted in the body colour.

Note: Road approval and warranty remain unchanged. The individual components of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS Manthey Kit are precisely matched to each other. For this reason, they may only be installed together on the vehicle.

Genuine Porsche OEM Parts — 2-Year Warranty

All Genuine Porsche OEM parts purchased from Suncoast Porsche or SuncoastParts.com come with a 2-year, unlimited mileage, parts-only warranty beginning on the date of purchase.

If your parts are installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center, both parts and labor warranty coverage may apply if the part is deemed defective within the 2-year warranty period. Coverage varies by location — please check with your local Porsche dealer prior to installation to confirm their specific warranty participation, as each Porsche Center is independently owned and operated.

Important warranty notes for online purchases:

Labor, diagnostic, and installation fees are not covered when parts are purchased online from SuncoastParts.com or Suncoast Porsche, unless the parts are installed by an authorized Porsche Service Center
Warranty claims must be processed in person at an authorized Porsche Service Center

How to Obtain Warranty Service

If your parts were originally installed by an authorized Porsche dealer, warranty repairs may be performed by that same dealer or any other authorized Porsche Service Center in the United States. Please allow a reasonable timeframe for repairs after delivering your vehicle to the dealership.

Installed by an Independent Repair Shop

Please be aware: All warranty claims must be inspected, performed, and documented by factory-trained Porsche technicians at an authorized Porsche dealership. Work performed at an independent repair shop does not qualify for warranty consideration. If warranty coverage is a priority, we strongly recommend having your parts installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center.
