2017-2026 (718)

Parts & accessories for the Porsche 718 Cayman (internal code 982) — the 2017–2026 generation that carried the iconic Cayman nameplate into a new era with turbocharged flat-four engines and, for the purists, a glorious return to naturally aspirated flat-six power in the top-tier variants. The hardtop counterpart to the 718 Boxster, the Cayman has long been celebrated as one of Porsche's most driver-focused platforms — mid-engine balance, razor-sharp handling, and a motorsport-bred character in every trim. Covers the full range: Cayman, Cayman S, Cayman T, Cayman GTS 2.5, Cayman GTS 4.0, Cayman GT4, and Cayman GT4 RS. Choose your model for exact-fit parts. Can't find what you need? We're here to help.

The 718 Cayman marked a significant departure when it launched for 2017: for the first time in the model's history, the base and S trims moved to turbocharged flat-four engines, trading the naturally aspirated six-cylinder soundtrack for smaller displacement and forced induction, largely to meet tightening emissions standards. The nameplate itself reached back to Porsche's own history, borrowing the "718" designation from the four-cylinder 718 race cars of the late 1950s and early 1960s.

The base 718 Cayman used a 2.0-liter turbo-four at 300 hp, while the S stepped up to a 2.5-liter version at 350 hp, both a genuine improvement over the outgoing naturally aspirated 981 in outright output and torque, even if the four-cylinder's character split enthusiast opinion. The GTS followed in 2.5-liter turbocharged form at 365 hp, before Porsche made its most significant move in 2020: bringing the naturally aspirated flat-six back for the GTS 4.0, at 394 hp, alongside a revived Cayman T built on the base car's turbo-four but focused on chassis feel over power. The GT4 followed the same six-cylinder path, using a 4.0-liter unit shared with the 911 at 414 hp, and Porsche capped the generation with the GT4 RS in 2022, at 493 hp and among the most track-focused Caymans ever built, borrowing its engine, aero, and much of its chassis tuning directly from the 911 GT3. Porsche ended gas-powered 718 production in October 2025, with an all-electric successor built on the PPE platform delayed into 2026 and beyond, meaning this generation closes out the naturally aspirated and turbocharged Cayman story entirely.
