Factory set of brake pad sensors, select the appropriate version.
Early models have a small & thin push connector (996 version, shown above), later models have a larger spade connector (997 version). Only order the 996 version if you use 996 brake pads, use the 997 spade connectors if you have 997 pads or if you're updating to the newer version.
How do you tell the difference?? It's easy, just measure your caliper pad springs, if you have the larger 3.5" spring, then you have 996 brakes. If you have the smaller 2.5" spring, you have the later 997-style pads. See the illustration below.
