Front Caliper Repair Kit
Comes with two replacement springs, two retaining pins, and two spring cotter pins. Contains parts to refresh two calipers.
There are two versions of this kit available, early production "S" models had 996 brake tensioning springs, later models come with 997 style springs. How do you tell the difference?? It's easy, just measure your caliper pad springs, if you have the larger 3.5" spring, then you have 996 brakes. If you have the smaller 2.5" spring, you have the later 997-style pads. See the illustration below.
If you have 996 style, Porsche recommends upgrading to the newer 997 caliper spring kit, pads, and sensors. We have both styles available, allowing you to choose the parts that you prefer. If you're confused, we understand, please give us a call or send an email for assistance.
