Used to hold crank pully during tightening of the crankshaft bolts.
Originally used only on the 2005 911 GT3 RS Cup (996) Cars. The same style aluminum crankshaft pulley was also used on 911 GT3 RS (997) cars in various years including the 2017-19 911 GT3 RS (991) .
