Porsche Sunshade - Classic 911 SKU: PKSHADECLASSIC

Nce Quality, and comes with a nice soft bag to store it in. Havent seen if it fits right just yet as its a gift for my husband we have a 911 1965.. will see~!

The Porsche Classic Sunshade is made of sturdy material and looks nice. But, it does not fit my 1988 911 Turbo. Most probably it will not fit any narrow body classics like all G-model versions. I assume it would fit a 993 perfectly.

I am a 25-year PCA member and Porsche collector that wanted to purchase an OEM sun shade for my 1988 Carrera Coupe. After searching high and low, I found this OEM sunshade and had high hopes. I purchased it and convinced a friend with a 1987 Carrera Cabriolet to do the same. The sunshade arrived in a nice Porsche sleeve and was made by CoverCraft, so the quality is good. The problem came when I tried to use it as it is too wide for the Carrera windshield and the cutout for the rear view mirror does not clear the mirror and ends up knocking the mirror out of adjustment. Given the somewhat high price ($90 w/tax and shipping) I expected much better fitment. Looks like Porsche threw together a quick logo licensing deal without truly checking fitment in the 1980's 911 models.
