As others have mention, piece fits snuggly in the factory location, it's nice and clear, you do see reflections from the dash but nothing horrible, and it is a little pricey. I bought this so I could mount a GoPro behind me for autocross and HPDE so I can observe my steering, accelerator and brake inputs at points on the course. It worked perfect for my last AX ... the HPDE wont be until Sep but should be fine there too since top will have to be up (and prevent fluttering of deflector at those higher speeds). I'll swap back to my factory deflector when not at an AX/HPDE event.

I had the Porsche mesh screen and compared to my old Boxster the wind is much worse. I pinpointed the wind screen as the culprit and ordered the solid plexi version...fits like a glove and does the trick! I really do not know what Porsche was thinking offering the mesh screen...the difference is significant.

The wind deflector has a blue tint and doesn't match the rest of the windows which have a clear tint.

I really like the look of the clear deflector but it does cause a reflection of the gearbox and it can be annoying. I do not notice much difference in the wind noise from the mesh deflector and it seems to work as well as the mesh deflector. The fit is tight and sturdy but at higher speeds, it seems to shimmy a bit. If it was not for the reflection I would have given it five stars. I wish there was a fix for the reflections.

Bought this mainly so I could affix a rear dash cam to it. Installation was easy; fit was perfect. Like other reviewers, would have preferred glass. No noise, but was surprised to see reflections from the chrome sections of my center console in it. Not a big problem and I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

The wind deflector is a great improvement over the standard mesh deflector. The increase in visibility through the rear window is significant. The deflector is easy to install and fits perfectly. I used the included gasket to prevent rattling but am not sure it was really needed. My only disappointment is the deflector is made of plexiglass. I had hoped for glass. I am concerned it will scratch over time. The price is pretty high for what you get. I found alternatives on the internet but decided to trust Porsche rather than a third party.

Perfect snap in fit! Comes with some bushings for possible squeaks, but no squeaks at all, so the bushings weren't needed.

Unlike the annoying factory wind deflector, you won’t even know this one is there. Instead of looking through a course screen door, you get a perfectly transparent view. It fit snugly in my car and snapped right in (the hardest part of the installation is getting the protective paper off). The only negative is the price, but if you own a Porsche you must be used to that. This has to be a $5 piece of plexiglass, though I’m guessing it was cut with a CNC machine which would be hard to do yourself.

While I was looking forward to receiving my deflector, I was disappointed to find out it was NOT made of glass. I went back and re-read the product description and found no mention of this being the plastic. It still looks great, I just hope it doesn’t scratch when I clean it. As of not deflecting the wind, I cannot attest to that...yet.

I like most everything but the fit. It seemed about 1/32" too big. Had to force it with a bang of my palm. Compared to the original it was noticeably wider. But it's great to have full visibility without the screen in the way. I also wonder if it's coming out without breaking.
