Porsche Boxster Chrome Emblems SKU: 981EMBLEMS

I'm very happy with my choice of the chrome newer style emblem on my '98 Boxster, silver with red interior. While up in the air whether the black emblems might look more striking, I am of the belief that the chrome adds the elegance I was looking for. They were easy to attach, especially with the help of my daughter's young eyes to make sure the lettering was both centered and straight.

The "Boxster" logo is extremely fragile - especially between the x and the s. Don't let it bend at all! I bent it very slightly trying to remove it from all the tape that Suncoast used to secure it and I snapped mine in two at that point. Suncoast should never have used so much tape. Fortunately, when i put it on the car, I was able to butt the two pieces together and it looks ok unless you look really close.

So I have a Cayman model 981 and these look just like the ones that come on the 981 models. I put them onto my 987 (2005 Boxster) and it looks great. The used car originally came without any emblems so I wanted to put PORSCHE more distinctly on it. Easy to use. The tricky part is measuring where to place the emblems so it's leveled and evenly spaced. That's what measuring tape, scotch tape, and pencils are for.
