A significant sound improvement over factory PSE under all conditions — with full valve control flexibility. Soul Performance's Valved Exhaust System for the 992 GT3 was engineered from CAD to CNC with zero compromises, featuring smooth-radius cast transition cones from the headers into a bespoke X-chamber muffler on the valves-closed path, and a large-diameter X-pipe on the valves-open path. The result is a higher-pitched, smoother, more present exhaust note throughout the entire RPM range — more exciting than the dull, hollow factory exhaust note in every driving mode.

Soul Performance designed and built a fixture specifically for precision final machining of the cast cones — ensuring mating flanges and clamping surfaces are fully machined for a perfect seal, the smoothest possible exhaust flow, fewer welds for durability, and a proper sports car sound.

Sound Soul Performance engineered this system to deliver tone enhancement under all conditions — not just at wide open throttle. With valves closed, volume is increased over OEM by a refined amount, with a smoother and more exciting character than the factory exhaust note. As the valves begin opening at 4,000 RPM and reach fully open at 5,000 RPM, a moderately more aggressive wail emerges — a gentleman's OEM+ exhaust experience that remains comfortable and refined in the cabin throughout the RPM range.

The blending of banks from the X-pipes combined with the sound-attenuating features of the bespoke muffler gives the 992 GT3 a higher-pitched, more refined, and more present character at every RPM — smooth from low-RPM roll-on all the way to wide open throttle.

Engineering & Valve Design The 992 GT3's factory valve programming keeps the valves closed until 4,000 RPM, then gradually opens them through 5,000 RPM. With PSE active the valves open on command but close again under acceleration, repeating this cycle. Soul Performance's system works seamlessly within this factory behavior — and for those seeking full valve override with valves 100% open at wide open throttle regardless of RPM, ECU tuning is available, as is Soul Performance's upcoming plug-and-play Valve Controller Kit.

A key design detail — the valves-open flow path is not limited exclusively to the external X-pipe. Some exhaust flow continues through the secondary flow path even with valves open, utilizing the bespoke muffler to smooth tone and drone in valves-open mode as well. This allowed Soul Performance to design an aggressive primary valves-open flow path without requiring additional resonators or mufflers. A tip plate matching the style used on 991 GT3 models is included, allowing tip assembly and style to be switched out.

Construction & Quality Soul Performance assembles each system in-house at their Willow Grove, PA facility from mandrel-bent T304L .065" thick-wall stainless steel. Billet 304L stainless steel head flanges are precision-cut on a 5-axis CNC machine for the best possible exhaust flow and strength. Back-purged TIG welding using ARCAL™ Prime argon gas ensures proper weld penetration and long-term durability — crucial for track use. Thick-gauge aluminum fixtures are used during fabrication to prevent warping and guarantee perfect fitment. Every set is rigorously quality-checked and foam-packed for safe delivery.

Warranty Coverage by Product Type

Genuine Porsche OEM Parts — 2-Year Warranty

All Genuine Porsche OEM parts purchased from Suncoast Porsche or SuncoastParts.com come with a 2-year, unlimited mileage, parts-only warranty beginning on the date of purchase.

If your parts are installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center, both parts and labor warranty coverage may apply if the part is deemed defective within the 2-year warranty period. Coverage varies by location — please check with your local Porsche dealer prior to installation to confirm their specific warranty participation, as each Porsche Center is independently owned and operated.

Important warranty notes for online purchases:

Labor, diagnostic, and installation fees are not covered when parts are purchased online from SuncoastParts.com or Suncoast Porsche, unless the parts are installed by an authorized Porsche Service Center
Warranty claims must be processed in person at an authorized Porsche Service Center
Warranty service is honored at any authorized Porsche dealer in the United States, however some dealers may decline warranty claims for parts purchased online or from another dealership — always verify with your local dealer before installation
If a warranty claim is approved and the part was not installed by a Porsche Service Center, installation of the replacement part remains the customer's responsibility

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

The following situations and conditions are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

Improper Installation or Misuse — Damage resulting from incorrect installation, negligence, unauthorized alteration, or accident. This includes any use in racing, competition, or motorsport applications
Lack of Proper Maintenance — Damage caused by failure to follow the vehicle's recommended Maintenance Schedule, or failure to use the correct fluids, fuel, oil, or lubricants as specified in the Owner's Manual. Proof of proper maintenance is the owner's responsibility — retain all service receipts in case questions arise
Consequential or Economic Losses — Towing fees, rental vehicles, loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or any other indirect economic losses
Vehicles Outside the USA & Canada — Parts installed on vehicles registered or primarily operated outside of the United States or Canada are not covered under this warranty

How to Obtain Warranty Service

Installed by an Authorized Porsche Dealer

If your parts were originally installed by an authorized Porsche dealer, warranty repairs may be performed by that same dealer or any other authorized Porsche Service Center in the United States. Please allow a reasonable timeframe for repairs after delivering your vehicle to the dealership.

Installed by an Independent Repair Shop

Please be aware: All warranty claims must be inspected, performed, and documented by factory-trained Porsche technicians at an authorized Porsche dealership. Work performed at an independent repair shop does not qualify for warranty consideration. If warranty coverage is a priority, we strongly recommend having your parts installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center.

Documentation Requirements for Warranty Claims
