Chrome tips look great, but sadly, other than that it did nothing as an upgrade whatsoever. Did not alter the sound at all.

Note From Suncoast: Thanks for your feedback. This is supposed to add extra sound from the intake side of the engine, probably most noticable at higher RPM's. This kit and the description hasn't changed in 30 years, we will review it. When these cars were new, this was the "must have" bolt-on upgrade of it's day. I guess by todays standards, it's not as exciting. Despite that, the air box upgrade is still a popular upgrade for us, there is a difference in engine sound and it's also a visual upgrade.
