Projector LED Puddle Lights - PORSCHE SKU: SKULEDPRO

The lights arrived very quickly. The installation was easy. The old ones popped right out. Then it’s just a matter of disconnecting them, connecting the new lights and popping the new lights in. You do need to give them a bit of a push to get them in, though, like someone else mentioned. Once installed, they look great. Genuine Porsche, not knock offs.

This is definitely well-made and worth the price. The PORSCHE script is a nice crisp white and matches very well with the factory white lighting projected down from the mirror. It is fairly bright, too, and looks phenomenal at night. It even shows up in some lighting situations during daylight which is nice. Removal of the old light was incredibly easy compared to installation. The old lights on my Macan had moveable metal spring clips whereas the new housing has solid plastic retaining clips that are a slightly larger profile than the old metal clips. At first I thought I was sent the wrong part because of how much force it took to install them. I was concerned I would break the housing but I started with seating the back white portion and pushing up on the red portion. It took a lot of force but it seated very securely and I am very satisfied with them.

Just pop the old puddle lights out, pop (and add a little umph) the new ones in. One simple plug connection. I had to see some of the other reviews to know that a little bit of a push was need to get these lights in. But they're nice and snug, and the logo looks great.

There arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Installation was a breeze- I bought 4 (one for each door), and had them all installed in less than 20 minutes! Will be buying from this place again!!

Love the look of this door light (not too flashy). But the install wasn't as easy as I expected (especially for the 992). It doesn't seem to pop in as expected. Not sure if this is something with the new 992 door panel.

Crystal clear, bright, very sharp looking! Wasn't sure how I'd feel about them but as soon as my son and I saw them lit up, we both got excited. Super cool upgrade!

These LED projector lights add a touch of class. The projected Porsche logo is pin sharp, while the red section you see on the door card looks like two small LED screens, so much better than the standard incandescent bulb. Fitting the lights is easy, only caution being the original lights have a steel wave springs on the top of the light, one on each end, these are used to retain the lights. You need to insert a thin plastic trim tool or similar between the top of the light and the door card, this flattens the wave spring, then gently pry the light forward, you may need to do this at each end of the light until it pops free. The new LED lights do not have the wave springs. The springs are replaced with a solid plastic lugs to retain the light. After connecting the electrical supply, fit the bottom on the light first, then push up and back to push it into the door card. The whole process is pretty quick and the result is excellent!

Really bright and sharp. Did not mention anything to my family members about the change, they were all surprised after boarding my 911 turbo S! This is an original part that can actually be ordered in new car models as an option. I think its worth the money for it, as looks Porsche quality and not a cheap mass-produced light. Installation was super easy, no special tools required (I carefully used a table knife...), in 5 minutes it was done.

My 992 has courtesy lighting that illuminates the ground upon opening the door, this upgrade throws a little class into the light with the PORSCHE insignia. The install is super easy, no door panel removal necessary. Use some of the Porsche plastic removal tools, gently pull back the panel, pull the existing lamp & install the new one. Takes 5 minutes. I'd also recommend using some painters tape along the door panel areas around the lamp to help ease your mind during install; if you're worried about marring the material. The Porsche projector lamp adds a nice touch. Great value too

really nice feature especially if you don't have illuminated door sills, OEM part, installed both in 5 minutes on my 991.2
