Not sure when and how this piece broke, but I would catch it every time I washed the car with the spoiler up and it would jiggle a bit. Happy to see it available and an easy replacement for a low price. Note there are different part numbers for the right and left side so make sure you have the correct one. Install is easy, just align the three tabs and apply firm, but straight down force as it's a tight "snap" in place.
