Don’t over think it , this is a simple fix to what could be an unsightly problem. Love that I made this simple change

I wish I had purchased these sooner. Just pull off the old knobs (not hard considering how sticky they get) and push in the new ones. No tools necessary, just make sure you match the knobs with the correct side (they are slightly different). Took all of 60 seconds to install in my 2008 911 Carrera S. Well worth the money.

Found instructions for replacement on the web - a 5-minute task, they fit perfectly, and a great fix for the "sticky knobs" on my 911S (997.1).

Easy fix for the "sticky knob syndrome," and a bargain price, considering what some 3rd parties are selling these for.

Very nice set of radio knobs. Fit and finish is great. Nice, inexpensive and quick replacement for the worn out sticky original knobs.

I am still a little shocked and why these were 30 bucks but hey it's a Porsche. They were exactly the correct size and I was willing to do anything to get those sticky ones I had out of there.

Looks like the original. it would be nice if they came with instructions, and if you needed some tool to loosen the retention clip. I am waiting for my next service to have the Porsche tech install .. was afraid I might break something trying to remove the old ones, I pulled on the old knobs and with some force and they did not budge so I figured better off to let the pro's do it.
