GT4 Rear Lower Diffuser SKU: PKGT4DIFFUSER

Although I don't race on the track... I want every add-on to help my car be all that it can be! This was an exceptional addition!

Removing the bumper definitely makes this easier to install. I was in the process of installing a rear camera at the same time, so it just made sense to do so. Adds a more aggressive look to the rear of the car and has me looking for a cost-effective solution to balance the look out on the front. I'm very surprised no one makes a gt4-esque urethane plastic front accessory for the base and S 981 models. There are plenty to be had for the GT4 and GTS, yet all I can find for the much more common models is in fiberglass or carbon fiber for $1000-1800! Yet the GT4 front piece is less than $300. It makes no sense to me. But I digress. This product is great, has a perfect factory fit, and I'd give it a difficulty level of 3/5 to install. Really enhances the look of the car and at around $500 it is a worthwhile add-on if you are going for a sportier look at a reasonable price.

Unfortunately, my rear bumper was damaged by a smack from another driver, so I decided to upgrade.I already had my eye on the GT4 rear diffuser. Suncoast over-nighted the parts to me (the package was on-sale) and I had a body shop do the installation. There are multiple parts and heat shields, and the rear bumper cover has to come off. The end-result is a more aggressive and custom look, that complements other visual upgrades I have made to the car (new exhaust tips, tinted rear tail lights, clear side markers, sport mirrors, etc.)

The GT4 rear diffuser certainly looks great on my Cayman S, but be prepared to spend some time removing the old one and installing the new. Patience is required, especially if you don't want to damage anything. Blue painters tape should be used to protect the bumper cover and several "tricks" are needed to free the old diffuser. Center section is the hardest and loosening the tailpipes and angling them down gives you some more room to see things.

I love my Cayman S but I didn't like seeing the oxidizing mufflers through the stock rear diffuser. The GT4 rear diffuser solved this problem and added a much more aggressive look. I had this installed by my dealer who took two hours for installation.

I installed the GT4 Diffuser and was immediately impressed with its looks. I think it adds a much better look to the rear of my GTS.
