A new exhaust tip option for 2005-2012 Boxster or Cayman models.
We have found this to be the least restrictive exhaust tip available from Porsche. On our project Cayman S, we installed a high flow exhaust system and a high-flow "Y" pipe/tip. The high flow "Y" pipe was too restrictive for the exhaust, and air turbulence created annoying pops and gurgles. When we switched to the Heavy Flow Tip the obnoxious noise has gone away, and we have been able to enjoy our aftermarket exhaust system.
This connects at the mufflers like normal, then channels the exhaust into a large and wide-open chamber. No funny bends, kinks, or hard corners.....a smooth and open area with less resistance. We don't promise any performance gains, but it can alter the sound on some exhaust systems.
