Front Hood Struts - 964/993 SKU: 2x99351133100

Frunk began to sag in hot Arizona sun. Ordered OEM struts, arrived in 3 days and installed in 30 minutes. Thanks Suncoast Parts for keeping our old Porsches like new.....

Put a broom or other handle into the trunk and place end of broom in the center of the cross structure of the interior of the hood. Otherwise the hood will fall down without support. The old struts pry off the ball joint. The strut is installed with the barrel up. Clean the ball joints with a rag. Apply vaseline to ball joints. Slip the strut ends onto the ball joints. Remove broom or handle holding up the hood. You are done.
