I have tried other brands, and this product is far superior. amazing how my roof went from no water beading, to all beads. The pictures of the beading are legit. Even though my cabrio is garage kept and low miles, I treat my top once every season.

Both Porsche brand and RaggTopp brand cabriolet top treatments work, and both have their staunch advocates. I have used both, and I have to say, I fall into the Porsche camp for a couple of reasons: (1) the Porsche product is a solvent-based aerosol, so it dries very quickly so you can get back on the road. RaggTopp literally soaks your roof with liquid and can take a long time to dry completely. You can speed up the process by parking your car out in the sun, but I hate to clean and treat my top, only to put it outside wet where there are bugs and dust and pollen. If you use RaggTopp, plan on not using your car for a day or so. (2) In my experience, the Porsche product beads water a little longer and better. Now some advice -- don't believe that any of these products lasts for a full year, especially here in the Pacific Northwest where it rains on my daily driver for 8 or 9 months straight. I clean my top and reapply this treatment once in the Spring, then again once in the late Fall. Also, take the advice I was given by a Porsche service advisor when I first bought my car -- use up an entire can for each treatment. This strategy allows you to hit the seams and edges several times extra and put 3 or 4 light coats everywhere else. Oh, and don't forget to mask your back window and around the perimeter of your top first. I use painter's tape and a stack of old Wall Street Journals (they're still the larger format).
