911 Classic Club Coupe (996), Limited Edition, 1:43
One of a kind: the 911 Classic Club Coupe for the Porsche Club of America. In two and a half years, a used 911 Carrera (type 996) from 1998 was transformed into the Porsche 911 Classic Club Coupé in honor of the Porsche Club of America (PCA), the oldest and largest club of the sports car brand.
The vehicle's special features include the Sport Gray Metallic paint, double domed roof, Fuchs rims and fixed ducktail style rear spoiler from the 1972 911 Carrera RS 2.7. Many of the exterior and interior details are personalized with PCA's signature Club Blue. The center sections of the sports seats, like the door panels, are made of woven leather in a Pepita pattern. Technically – and to some extent visually – the vehicle has also been converted into a second-generation 911 GT3, including that model's 3.6-litre engine with an output of 280 kW/381 hp. The chassis and brakes also come from the GT3 of that generation.
