Everything about the 993 represents the pinnacle of analog driving — and we wouldn't change a thing. But even the most devoted air-cooled purist will admit the factory headlights haven't kept pace with the rest of the car's timeless legacy. Hazing lenses and underwhelming output are the reality after three decades on the road. Morimoto built the XB LED headlights specifically for the 993 — a modern lighting upgrade that honors everything this car represents, while giving it the road presence it has always deserved.

A Design That Respects the 993 Unmistakably inspired by the work of the most respected names in Porsche tuning, the XB headlights modernize the front end of the 993 without compromising its delicate, iconic styling. The geometry and much of the fluted lens texture from the original housings have been faithfully preserved. The optical light pipe wrapping the outer perimeter serves as both the low-intensity parking light and full-intensity daytime running light, creating four distinct hot-spots in each corner — a nod to the signature lighting character Porsche introduced on the 991 generation.

Classic White or Modern White — Your Choice The Classic White version uses warm white LEDs that integrate so naturally into the 993's styling it could pass for a factory fitment. The Modern White version steps up the visual intensity for a more contemporary appearance. In both cases, the DRL optics and Bi-LED projector are perfectly color-matched for a clean, cohesive look.

Bi-LED Projection — Low & High Beam A single high-output Bi-LED projector handles both low and high beam duty — the same configuration found in the headlights of the latest 911 generation. The result is a wider, significantly brighter low beam and a high beam that cuts deep into the distance with authority. All optics meet and exceed SAE and DOT standards when properly aimed, and integrated aiming adjusters make that straightforward.

Plug-and-Play Fitment No cutting. No splicing. No modifications. The XB headlights plug directly into the factory connectors on all US-spec 993s and are compatible with both halogen and Xenon/Litronic equipped cars. A direct bolt-on replacement that slides and locks into the front fenders just like the original units — most installs are completed in under an hour.

One Important Note on Fitment During R&D, several 993s were encountered with broken factory connector mounts. If yours is one of them, the wiring will need to be manually connected before locking the headlight into place — a minor step, but worth knowing before you start the install.

Warranty Coverage by Product Type

Genuine Porsche OEM Parts — 2-Year Warranty

All Genuine Porsche OEM parts purchased from Suncoast Porsche or SuncoastParts.com come with a 2-year, unlimited mileage, parts-only warranty beginning on the date of purchase.

If your parts are installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center, both parts and labor warranty coverage may apply if the part is deemed defective within the 2-year warranty period. Coverage varies by location — please check with your local Porsche dealer prior to installation to confirm their specific warranty participation, as each Porsche Center is independently owned and operated.

Important warranty notes for online purchases:

Labor, diagnostic, and installation fees are not covered when parts are purchased online from SuncoastParts.com or Suncoast Porsche, unless the parts are installed by an authorized Porsche Service Center
Warranty claims must be processed in person at an authorized Porsche Service Center
Warranty service is honored at any authorized Porsche dealer in the United States, however some dealers may decline warranty claims for parts purchased online or from another dealership — always verify with your local dealer before installation
If a warranty claim is approved and the part was not installed by a Porsche Service Center, installation of the replacement part remains the customer's responsibility

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

The following situations and conditions are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

Improper Installation or Misuse — Damage resulting from incorrect installation, negligence, unauthorized alteration, or accident. This includes any use in racing, competition, or motorsport applications
Lack of Proper Maintenance — Damage caused by failure to follow the vehicle's recommended Maintenance Schedule, or failure to use the correct fluids, fuel, oil, or lubricants as specified in the Owner's Manual. Proof of proper maintenance is the owner's responsibility — retain all service receipts in case questions arise
Consequential or Economic Losses — Towing fees, rental vehicles, loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or any other indirect economic losses
Vehicles Outside the USA & Canada — Parts installed on vehicles registered or primarily operated outside of the United States or Canada are not covered under this warranty

How to Obtain Warranty Service

Installed by an Authorized Porsche Dealer

If your parts were originally installed by an authorized Porsche dealer, warranty repairs may be performed by that same dealer or any other authorized Porsche Service Center in the United States. Please allow a reasonable timeframe for repairs after delivering your vehicle to the dealership.

Installed by an Independent Repair Shop

Please be aware: All warranty claims must be inspected, performed, and documented by factory-trained Porsche technicians at an authorized Porsche dealership. Work performed at an independent repair shop does not qualify for warranty consideration. If warranty coverage is a priority, we strongly recommend having your parts installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center.

Documentation Requirements for Warranty Claims
