MOSHAMMER 992 Ducktail Evo II
A tribute to the legendary Porsche 911 Carrera RS Mighty Ducktail of the ’70s, the MOSHAMMER 992 Ducktail Evo II combines timeless design with cutting-edge technology. Featuring revolutionary ram-air ducts integrated into the spoiler, it surpasses the inlet size of both the 992 Sport Classic and 992 Turbo S. Thus, setting a new benchmark for performance and style.
Functionality
The generously sized air inlets deliver a consistent and efficient flow of cool air to the intercoolers and intake. Like the Porsche 992 Sport Classic, the Ducktail Evo II is a fixed spoiler. During development, we ensured the use of original Porsche attachment points for seamless installation. Once installed, the Ducktail remains static, deactivating the original rear spoiler’s electric lift function.
The MOSHAMMER Ducktail Evo II is also thoughtfully engineered to maintain full visibility and functionality of the original top-mounted third brake light in the rear window engine cover grill.
Fully compliant with regulations in regions such as the USA and Europe. The Evo II Ducktail therefore, offers an unbeatable combination of performance, design, and practicality. Comes primed in satin black and ready to paint, includes mounting material. With TÜV parts certificate (§19.3)!
Installation
Replaces the original el. rear spoiler; the spoiler mechanism should be disassembled. The original third brake light on top stays in place and continues to operate effectively. The automatic spoiler lift function must be deactivated, requiring simple coding to a fixed rear spoiler setting, similar to the factory setup for models with the aero-kit with the fixed rear wing.
Unless specified otherwise, MOSHAMMER components are typically installed using original screw points and, when needed, secured with a special adhesive.
