Great and easy upgrade to my 2018 C2. Thanks to the removal instructions in these reviews this was one of the easiest upgrades of all time. completed in less than 30 mins. Tip: you only need a T25 screwdriver to remove the 6 screws in the base spoiler and then just follow the instructions from the other reviews on removal and sliding it towards the drivers side. The new one just slides in and snaps in place.

The front bumper spoiler is not really how it looks in the photos displayed. It is not flush it sticks out quite a bit from the car fyi. They should display better photos of the bumper on a car. A little disappointed in the look.

Scraped and scrapped!

I recently had one of these put on my 991.2. At first, I thought it was a little odd looking, because it projected a little forward and downward compared to the OEM lip spoiler. I was just getting used to it when I scraped it on a speed bump. Later I hit it on a parking stop. I'm normally very careful when I drive in parking lots and other places where there are obstacles, and I use the car's front axle lift system (FALS). However, I still wound up damaging this spoiler. If you get one and you really like the looks of it, be VERY careful around obstacles. Use your FALS if you have it. As for me, I am going back to the OEM spoiler. I never scraped that one on anything.

Had to replace my front spoiler after a shovel bounced out of the back of a pick up on the freeway. The edge pretty much cut my original spoiler in half. It is literally a snap to remove the old spoiler and install the new one. Anyone can do it. You don’t need a body shop . I bought from Sun Coast parts because of the excellent price .I will be purchasing from them again in the future.
Removal of the old one was a bit challenging; excellent replacement

Removing the small OEM rubber piece was easy. Removal of the harder and larger plastic bit was a tad more difficult since I had trouble getting a purchase on that piece to pop it loose. It fit pretty snug. Eventually I was able to find a place to grab it with a couple of finger and it popped right off. Installation of the new one by one person simply took aligning it on one end and then giving it a good pop with the heel of my hand and you could feel it pop on and seat into position. After it was pretty much properly aligned, I then went back to give it a good thwack every few inches (on the front lip) with my palm to make sure it was properly seated and I could feel it pop into place. It looks great.
Very nice replacement

Please read the instructions provided by Stephen M - seriously - read those instructions and do exactly as he says. This should be a 10 minute job if you follow the instructions from Stephen M. Otherwise, you’ll be cursing in German for the next hour you spend trying to do this job on your own. Once the spoiler is on, you’ll be very happy you put it there.
Great upgrade, easy install

Instructions above by Stephen from Houston are spot on. Easy removal of the scraped up original two piece spoiler and even easier install of the new part. Looks fantastic and a perfect fit.

I have a 2017, 991.2, Removing the original spoiler is straight forward, as a previous reviewer states, remove a total of 6 screws. 2 screws located each end of the rubber strip, 2 screws located close to the middle of the car, 2 small screws, one each end, close to the larger screws. Pull each end of the rubber strip away from the car and let them hang down. The rubber strip has lugs on top that locate in slots that are larger at one end then the other. This is why you have to pull the entire rubber strip towards the driver side to release the lugs from the slots. The strip will move about 1 inch, then pull it off the car. Now you can remove the plastic spoiler by gently pulling it towards you, away from the body, it’s a snug fit, so some patience is required. The new spoiler is simple, line it up on the car, locate the mounting slots, and push the spoiler home, it’s a perfect fit. There is no need to re-use the rubber strip or any of the screws. The part arrived early, packaging was excellent, another great Suncoast experience.
slide the oem piece to driver side!

the part you're removing is 2 piece (rubber and plastic) remove the 4 metal screws and the 2 plastic 'screws", then undo the ends of the rubber piece so they dangle freely, and SLIDE the rubber piece to the drivers side of vehicle... voila it comes off.. and then you can pull the plastic piece from the car... the new piece requires no screws.. (if you dont do the slide trick, you break every clip, end up frustrated and break your factory piece in half (ask me how i know))

Porsche Parts Warranty Information — Suncoast Porsche

Understanding your warranty coverage is important. Below is a complete overview of warranty terms for Genuine Porsche OEM parts, aftermarket parts, and closeout items purchased from Suncoast Porsche and SuncoastParts.com.

Warranty Coverage by Product Type

Genuine Porsche OEM Parts — 2-Year Warranty

All Genuine Porsche OEM parts purchased from Suncoast Porsche or SuncoastParts.com come with a 2-year, unlimited mileage, parts-only warranty beginning on the date of purchase.

If your parts are installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center, both parts and labor warranty coverage may apply if the part is deemed defective within the 2-year warranty period. Coverage varies by location — please check with your local Porsche dealer prior to installation to confirm their specific warranty participation, as each Porsche Center is independently owned and operated.

Important warranty notes for online purchases:

  • Labor, diagnostic, and installation fees are not covered when parts are purchased online from SuncoastParts.com or Suncoast Porsche, unless the parts are installed by an authorized Porsche Service Center
  • Warranty claims must be processed in person at an authorized Porsche Service Center
  • Warranty service is honored at any authorized Porsche dealer in the United States, however some dealers may decline warranty claims for parts purchased online or from another dealership — always verify with your local dealer before installation
  • If a warranty claim is approved and the part was not installed by a Porsche Service Center, installation of the replacement part remains the customer's responsibility
  • Suncoast Porsche and SuncoastParts.com are not liable for any diagnostic, labor, or installation fees charged by another Porsche Service Center

Aftermarket & Performance Parts

Warranty coverage for aftermarket and performance parts varies by manufacturer. Most carry a 1-year limited warranty. Contact us for specific warranty details on any aftermarket product. Please note that diagnostic time and labor costs for warranty replacements are not covered.

Take-Off & Closeout Parts

All take-off and closeout parts are sold as-is with no warranty and are not eligible for return. Pricing on these items reflects their as-is condition.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

The following situations and conditions are explicitly excluded from warranty coverage:

  • Improper Installation or Misuse — Damage resulting from incorrect installation, negligence, unauthorized alteration, or accident. This includes any use in racing, competition, or motorsport applications
  • Lack of Proper Maintenance — Damage caused by failure to follow the vehicle's recommended Maintenance Schedule, or failure to use the correct fluids, fuel, oil, or lubricants as specified in the Owner's Manual. Proof of proper maintenance is the owner's responsibility — retain all service receipts in case questions arise
  • Consequential or Economic Losses — Towing fees, rental vehicles, loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, or any other indirect economic losses
  • Vehicles Outside the USA & Canada — Parts installed on vehicles registered or primarily operated outside of the United States or Canada are not covered under this warranty

How to Obtain Warranty Service

Installed by an Authorized Porsche Dealer

If your parts were originally installed by an authorized Porsche dealer, warranty repairs may be performed by that same dealer or any other authorized Porsche Service Center in the United States. Please allow a reasonable timeframe for repairs after delivering your vehicle to the dealership.

Installed by an Independent Repair Shop

Please be aware: All warranty claims must be inspected, performed, and documented by factory-trained Porsche technicians at an authorized Porsche dealership. Work performed at an independent repair shop does not qualify for warranty consideration. If warranty coverage is a priority, we strongly recommend having your parts installed at an authorized Porsche Service Center.

Documentation Requirements for Warranty Claims

To process a warranty claim, the servicing Porsche dealer will require:

  • Your original sales receipt or order confirmation from SuncoastParts.com or Suncoast Porsche
  • A completed warranty certificate
  • Proof of proper vehicle maintenance history (if applicable)

Suncoast Porsche retains sales records on file for two years. If you need a copy of your receipt, contact us and we will provide it promptly.

Additional Warranty Terms & Legal Disclaimers

This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may also have additional rights that vary by state.

Porsche does not authorize any individual or organization to create additional obligations or liabilities beyond those stated in this warranty. Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the term of this written warranty. The exclusive remedy under this warranty is the repair or replacement of the defective part.

Suncoast Porsche and SuncoastParts.com shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from a breach of this written warranty or any implied warranty.

Some states do not permit limitations on implied warranty duration or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages — the above limitations may not apply in your state. Additionally, installation of certain parts or accessories may affect your Porsche New Vehicle Warranty. Please consult your authorized Porsche dealer for full terms, or contact us with any questions.
