Locking Lug Bolt Set SKU: SKU718WHLLOCK

I've had these locking lug nuts for a year and they've held up fine cosmetically. However, a friend of mine who retired as a Porsche service technician asked me about them when he was helping me do some tire work on my 2016 Cayman. He cautioned he'd seen similar product removal tool (key) fail, usually by cracking when attempting to remove the locking lug nuts, and that no serial number would be found to know the proper key to order. Hence, it could require a difficult and costly expense to remove the locking lug nut. As he explained to me, the OEM Porsche brand locking lug nut set with removal tool has a tracking/serial number which would allow me to order a replacement removal tool in case I ever lost it or broke it. I think it would be helpful to include information on the website regarding whether or not a replacement removal key/tool can be ordered in case of loss or breakage.
