Adds an awesome contrast to GT silver. To make it easier to apply, you also need to use a hair dryer. The part that does not lay down flat is the bottom left (for the driver side) where the body curves. The material will NOT lay flat there. Position it, squeegee out the water on the top, back and as much of the bottom as possible. When you get to the bottom left where it curves, heat it up with a hair dryer to stretch the material and get it to conform to the curve while squeegeeing out the air bubbles. Helps to have someone point the hair dryer while you work the squeegee with one hand and feel for bubbles with the other. I sat in a small stool, held the hair dryer between my knees pointed at the material while working to smooth it out. Good luck!

So not new to vinyl , first mine did not fit over the original clear stone guard even if I heated and stretched it would have left a little short mine were almost 3/16 smaller so Id recommend removing the original first, Second one of mine had 2 cuts in them right at the point where it was taped when rolled up for packaging, I wish I'd noticed that before I peeled off the backing so I could have returned them, Either way they are in the trash now.

I read the reviews on here pre purchase and decided to buy them even though there were some negative reviews. I installed them on my new just delivered 911 GTS and so far so good! I feel that they are good quality and excellent fitment. They also look great!

Bought these and haven’t put them on bc the vinyl quality looks cheap and plastic-y. I hve the stripe decal from a high quality vinyl manufacturer and these stone guards look noticeably cheap compared to the center stripe

I liked the look of these on the 992s so much, I bought a set for my 991 and swapped them out. Gives the car a racey yet vintage look. Good quality and easy to install!

I wanted to change my clear stone guard to the Black Guard to contrast the color on the car. I wanted to place it over my existing clear stone guard. This stone guard fitted perfectly over the clear one. Therefore I was able not only able to change the color. But DOUBLE the protection on my new 992!

I was worried because the ewebsite said it wasn't a Porsche product. I was pleasantly surprise the the fitment was spot on, quality was great, sticks very well. Only time will tell how it holds up over time.
