Gauge Face - 997 Instrument Cluster SKU: FVDGAUGEFACE

I was tossing around the idea of putting red gauges in for a couple monthes. I decided to finally pull the trigger, and bought these (along with the sport chrono). Caution: not an easy swap out! I initially made an appt to have the delaership do it, and my technician actually called me and advised me not to. The motors are super sensitive, and the calibration of the gauges can be thrown off. I called Suncoast and they told me about a speedo shop in Cali that could do it. I debated if I was willing to have my cluster shipped to the West Coast, and not have a drivable car for a while. I was ready to do it when an independent shop here in town said they were willing to tackle the job. The chrono, tacho and speedo went well, but he hit a roadblock with the two small gauges on the cluster and the baby motors inside them. He drove my cluster down to a speedo shop in Ft. Lauderdale, and they weren't even 100% sure they could get the gauges working. They did though, and shipped my cluster back. My last resort would have been the Cali shop. The new red instruments look sick! The red looks like a deep crimson in the shade, and bright red when the sun shines directly on them. Really give my car a unique look, and personalize it. Well worth the stress!!!
