Shift Console Trim SKU: 9X7SCT01651

My 997 C2S Cab daily driver is now 12 years old. Despite nearly OCD care, daily use shows up in the form of minor wear over time. Accumulate enough of this and the entire car feels shabby. One of the most used (and worn) spots in the entire interior is the little shelf at the entrance of the cubby hole in front of the shifter. I insert my cell phone into the cubby as I get in several times a day, and slide it out when I get out. As a result, the soft-touch paint had completely worn off. I discovered that a replacement part for the Shifter Console Trim is pretty darn inexpensive as Porsche parts go, so I ordered and received one. It took me about an hour to replace, eliminating most of the daily wear in the cockpit that can be seen from the driver's seat. The feeling is like when I was a kid and got new tennis shoes -- they seemed to make me run faster. You almost cannot do more for the interior for less money.

Great product. Color matches perfect. The fit is OEM. Could not ask for a better part. Easy to replace and looks brand new again.
