Read the online forum for removal advice. My shift knob came off easily but I see that may not be the norm. Takes less tha three minutes if the knob comes off.

The shifter on my 2002 Carrera Cab was beat up. This part was so easy to install and completed my interior fleshing up. Suncoast had the best price too.
