To add even more flair to what is already one of the sleekest roadsters on the planet, Porsche is offers the SportDesign body-kit package for the Boxster and Boxster S. This individualization option is comprised of front spoiler lips which mount on the standard front trim, an automatically extending, redesigned rear spoiler, and modified rear trim with integrated diffuser.
In addition to providing a more striking and sportier appearance, the new SportDesign package improves aerodynamics by reducing lift on both the front and rear axles, without increasing aerodynamic drag. This combination of sharper looks and reduced lift complements the Boxsters finely-tuned, roadster-specific balance, and the shape of the rear trim and integrated diffuser evokes visions of the race-bred Carrera GT.
The automatically extending rear spoiler which deploys at 75 mph (120 km/h) and retracts at 50 mph (80 km/h) has been designed along divided-wing principles, and further contributes to the association with Porsche's supercar. All of the SportDesign packages components must be painted in the vehicles exterior color, and blend seamlessly with the Boxsters dynamic visuals.
Kit consists of left and right front bumper spoilers and rear bumper with revised spoiler design. Comes in primer, must be painted to match. Professional installation recommended.
