Third Radiator Kit - Boxster / Cayman (987) SKU: 3RDRAD987

This Suncoast kit included everything needed to add the third radiator, with all Porsche made parts. It's worth looking up the front bumper removal on YouTube if you haven't done it before, but nothing too complicated. You only need a metric set of sockets (I think 10mm, 13mm and 16mm covers it) 25 and 30 torx head bits, and a screw driver to help with clips. This added cooling, plus a deep sump oil pan kit, should keep your first gen M97 engine comfortable for the more spirited drives. Cheap insurance.

Adding the center radiator to my 987.1 was incredibly easy with this kit, very complete, all factory parts fit like a glove. One of the easiest upgrades I have done on an automobile from any kit. Price is right as well!

I ordered this part to help with the cooling of my v8 987.1 Cayman S. The parts included were a perfect fit and installation is self explanatory once you pull the parts out of the box. The longest part of the install was removing the bumper. The hoses connect quickly and can be done without losing more than a cup of coolant all together. The extra cooling capacity helped a lot and I’d definitely recommend this product.
