Cayenne models with optional air suspension utilize four sensors to control the ride height. This is accomplished via the use of a small linkage or link which connects the sensor to the suspension. As the car is raised or lowered, the link moves the sensor up or down sending a signal to the computer telling it how high the car is. These links give you the flexibility to go from the stock height to a 2.5" lift.Be warned, all adjustable lowering links are not the same! These links are machined aluminum and are fully Zinc platted for corrosion resistance. They include rubber seals that keep dirt and road debris from getting into the ball joints. They are fully adjustable so that any ride height is achievable.Installation is simple and with the included instructions and is fully reversible, allowing the owner to reinstall the factory links at any time. This can be helpful when needing to take the car to the dealership for warranty work or to return a lease, etc.
