The Panamera Turbo and Turbo S both continued into the facelifted 970.2 generation for the 2014 model year, remaining the range-topping performance variants above the S, 4S, and GTS. Both saw a power increase as part of the update, and Porsche also extended the long-wheelbase Executive treatment to both models for the first time, joining the 4S Executive introduced the same year.
The Turbo used a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V8 producing 520 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque (568 lb-ft with the Sport Chrono Package's overboost), reaching 60 mph in as little as 3.8 seconds and topping out at 189 mph. The Turbo S used a further reworked version of the same engine, producing 570 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque (590 lb-ft with overboost), dropping the 0-60 time to 3.6 seconds and pushing the top speed to 192 mph, making it the quickest and fastest Panamera of the generation. Both were paired with the standard 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.
Both models came standard with adaptive air suspension, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), with the Turbo S adding standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and additional interior trim upgrades. As part of the facelift, both also gained standard bi-xenon headlights, an available full-LED lighting package, and the updated Porsche Communication Management infotainment system.
