1995 993 C2 37K miles manual. Noticed much improvement when starting out from a cold Minnesota winter. Eases into third gear much easier with much less crunch. As good as this oil is it's still oil and way overpriced,.

For my 2003 996 with 75k miles I updated to the 997 shifter console which gave a slightly shorter more precise throw and then after a few weeks changed to Mobil PTV 75W-90. The change in lube made as big an improvement in feel as the console change except the change was to the smoothness of the shifter movement. Now the car really shifts the way I want. Amazing was less than 3 liters of a different lube can make. Strongly recommended.

This made the shifting better in by 997.1 C4S when the tranny is warm. Not as big an impact when cold as others have reported.

I have a 07 carrera that was hard to shift when cold. I tried several other sythetic 75w90 oils and all were the same. my tech told me to try the factory PTX and it was amazing. Cold crunch when shifting is gone, smother all around. with I had done it years ago. well worth the extra cost to get it right.

The ptx is an amazing product. Best tranny oil for porsche but way too expensive. Initially I thought it was a gallon based on the pic, boy was I wrong!!...had to reorder 2 more. The shifting is much smoother now because of the ptx but it's price is outrageous $40/quart.

I bought 3 liters for my 2008 C4 manual to do general maintenance at 40k miles. Easy DIY task.

2009 C2S 86K miles manual. I had the classic jamming going into 1st. This fixed it. My manual denotes changing this at 120K miles.... BS.... it should be changed earlier. I don't know why or what was wrong, but changing this out for what is recommended in my manual cures this ill.
