I bought this piece about a year ago. It fit well and looked great. However, it does not seem as durable as my OEM version. The plastic seems like a lighter but harder version. My guess is that this is necessary to make it look like carbon fiber with the gloss finish. I think I dropped my keys maybe 2 times since I had this on there. It seemed durable at first. I treat my stuff pretty normal and with care. I have never had a key fall apart on me even though I dropped them. The second time it fell out of my pocket it was in a parking lot and one of the sides fell off. I put it back on thinking it was ok and it eventually came off again in my pocket. I inspected the piece against my OEM factory piece and noticed the plastic tab had broken off that secures the key. They could probably make that plastic latch little more reinforced like the OEM piece and it would be just fine. Again, decent product for the price but know what you are getting.

I was so excited to get these awesome carbon fiber fob casings that I put them on before doing my extra mod. I then tried to remove them only to break off both clips that hold them on to the body of the fob. The reason I removed them was because I didn't like the way the carbon looked with the chrome center and I wanted to paint that piece flat black. So I went over to my local hardware store and I took all the pieces with me for some advice. The gentlemen at the store recommended I use Loctite Super Glue. I drove back home and took my time repairing the broken clips. I then painted then used some sand paper and removed all the chrome off the center plastic piece. I then painted that flat black. waited a day to dry. Reassembled the whole thing and it looks super sharp.

Looks excellent. Carbon finish equivalent to OEM quality. Easy to fit if you follow installation directions on Suncoast site. You need a plastic body panel pry (harbor freight has a cheap one that works great). The amount of force needed to pry the side shells off the keyfob is modest, and it pops off promptly. Never feels llike your going to break something.

Key remote trim is better looking than the picture depicts it to be.Workmanship is great and as good a carbon fiber piece as I've ever purchased.

Makes the key look fantastic. Easy to install.
