The Macan Turbo Electric sits at the top of Porsche's first fully electric compact SUV lineup, and it carries the Turbo badge into genuinely new territory: rather than a combustion engine's forced induction, "Turbo" here simply signals the range-topping performance trim, matching the naming convention Porsche established with the Taycan Turbo before it.
The Turbo uses the same dual-motor all-wheel-drive layout as the rest of the lineup, but with the largest and most powerful rear motor Porsche offers across the Macan Electric range. Always-available output sits at 576 hp, with Launch Control triggering an overboost phase that pushes peak output to 630 hp and 833 lb-ft. The Turbo's 800-volt architecture allows the same fast-charging capability found across the lineup, up to 270 kW, bringing the battery from 10 to 80 percent in around 21 minutes under optimal conditions. Adaptive air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with an electronically controlled, fully variable rear differential lock both come standard, giving the Turbo genuine on-limit adjustability that few compact SUVs at any price point can match.
