The Cayenne E-Hybrid returns for the 2024 model year as part of the facelifted 9Y3 generation, sitting as the entry point into Porsche's plug-in hybrid Cayenne lineup, positioned above the base gas Cayenne and below the more powerful Cayenne S E-Hybrid and Turbo E-Hybrid. Available in both standard SUV and Coupe body styles, the E-Hybrid pairs everyday electric usability with the performance Porsche buyers expect.
Power comes from the 3.0-liter turbocharged V6, producing 300 hp and 309 lb-ft on its own, paired with a more potent electric motor for a combined output of 463 hp and 479 lb-ft. The system is mated to the standard 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic and all-wheel drive, sending the E-Hybrid to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds with a top speed of 158 mph.
The 2024 refresh brought a larger 25.9 kWh battery pack (21.8 kWh usable), up significantly from the previous generation's 17.9 kWh unit, extending all-electric range to as much as 28 miles by EPA estimates, and up to roughly 48 to 56 miles under the more generous European testing cycle. The E-Hybrid also picks up the full suite of 2024 chassis updates, including two-valve PASM dampers and available two-chamber, two-valve adaptive air suspension.
