Some Porsches belong on your desk, not just your driveway. Take a look About this model The 992.1 Carrera GTS, Carrera 4 GTS, and Targa 4 GTS

The GTS badge has always meant the enthusiast's sweet spot, more power and a curated set of chassis upgrades over the S, without the price or the compromises of a GT3. Porsche revealed the 992-generation GTS family in June 2021, with US deliveries beginning for the 2022 model year. All three body styles, Carrera GTS, Carrera 4 GTS, and Targa 4 GTS, share the same 3.0-liter twin-turbo flat-six tuned to 473 hp and 420 lb-ft, a 30 hp and 30 lb-ft gain over the Carrera S.

What set this GTS apart wasn't just the power bump. Porsche lowered the ride height 10mm with PASM Sport, fitted brakes borrowed from the Turbo, gave it a GTS-specific sport exhaust with reduced insulation for more induction and exhaust sound in the cabin, and introduced center-lock wheels along with the first-ever GTS Lightweight package. Buyers could pair all of that with either a 7-speed manual or 8-speed PDK, a genuinely rare combination of hardcore chassis tuning and manual availability in this segment. The Targa 4 GTS carried the same recipe into Porsche's signature retractable-roof body style, with standard all-wheel drive. This generation also marked the last purely gas-powered GTS, since the 992.2 update that followed switched the GTS to a hybrid powertrain.
