The Turbo S E-Hybrid remains the pinnacle of the Panamera lineup, and for 2025 Porsche pushed it further than ever. The 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 was reengineered with a new single-scroll turbocharger design in place of the previous twin-scroll setup, delivering higher peak boost pressure, while the electric motor integrated into the PDK transmission housing was upgraded as well. Combined, the gas engine's 591 hp and the motor's 187 hp add up to a system total of 771 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque, an 81 hp and 96 lb-ft gain over the outgoing model.
That output translates directly into numbers that put the Turbo S E-Hybrid among the quickest four-doors on the road: 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 202 mph, an 8 mph improvement over the previous generation. A larger 25.9 kWh battery, a 45 percent capacity increase over the prior 17.9 kWh unit, extends EV-only range and supports faster charging, while the improved eight-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission gets reworked power-transmitting surfaces and a higher thermal load capacity to handle the added output. Porsche backed up the performance claims on track too, with the new Turbo S E-Hybrid lapping the Nürburgring nearly six seconds faster than its predecessor.
For 2025, the Turbo S E-Hybrid also gains standard Porsche Active Ride suspension, a feature reserved exclusively for the E-Hybrid variants within the 976 lineup, giving it a level of chassis control and body management the gas-only GTS doesn't offer. Every visual and material cue at this trim level reflects its position at the top of the range, from unique badging to the most comprehensive standard equipment list in the lineup.
