So yea.......this is a real thing. The pointy part of the Porsche Crest emblem is supposed to be pointing at the valve stem. Could have roots in racing, the story is that it's supposed to help you find the valve stem quicker. The truth is out there, we're sure of that. But either way, this is considered the correct alignment for all Porsche street cars.
