The second-generation refresh brought the biggest power jump the Turbo and Turbo S have seen since launch, courtesy of a revised rear-axle motor and pulse inverter shared across the AWD lineup, plus a new push-to-pass feature built into Sport Chrono that adds a further burst of power for overtaking.
The Turbo now produces 697 hp continuous, rising to 871 hp on overboost with Launch Control, and 656 lb-ft of torque, with Porsche quoting 0 to 60 mph in around 2.5 seconds. The Turbo S steps up to 764 hp continuous and 938 hp on overboost, an increase of 188 hp over the outgoing car, with 818 lb-ft of torque and a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.3 seconds, a 0.3 second improvement that Porsche credits partly to smarter traction control algorithms rather than power alone. Both trims share the larger 105 kWh Performance Battery Plus pack as standard, along with the lineup-wide updates for 2025: 320 kW peak DC charging, a 10 to 80 percent charge time of around 18 minutes, and the new push-to-pass function offering up to 70 kW of additional power for 10 seconds at the press of a button, on top of whatever overboost is already delivering.
