Despite the name, "Turbo" on the Taycan has nothing to do with forced induction, it's Porsche's traditional flagship-performance badge carried over to the EV era, and on the Cross Turismo it delivers genuine supercar pace in a wagon body. Alongside the Turbo S, it's the trim that made the case for the Cross Turismo as more than just a practical alternative to the sedan.
The Turbo Cross Turismo produces 616 hp continuous, rising to 670 hp on overboost with Launch Control, and 626 lb-ft of torque, identical figures to the sedan. Porsche quotes 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds. Unlike the 4 and 4S trims, the Turbo comes standard with the larger 93.4 kWh Performance Battery Plus pack rather than offering it as an option, so there's no smaller-battery version to consider. That combination of power and weight brings EPA range down to around 204 miles, the trade-off for the extra performance, though the 800-volt architecture still supports the same fast-charging capability as the rest of the lineup. Standard equipment includes Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus, adaptive air suspension, and the larger brake package shared with the Turbo S.
