Porsche brought the GTS badge to the electric Macan lineup for the 2026 model year, slotting it in as the fifth trim between the 4S and Turbo. It's the first time GTS has meant something different for the Macan Electric than it does for the outgoing combustion V6 GTS, which remains available separately as the current gas lineup's range-topper for as long as it stays in production.
The Macan GTS Electric uses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, borrowing the Turbo's larger, more potent rear motor rather than the 4S's unit. Standard output sits at 509 hp, with an Overboost function using Launch Control pushing peak output to 563 hp and 704 lb-ft. Porsche quotes 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds and a 155 mph top speed, positioning it precisely between the 4S's 509 hp overboost figure and the Turbo's 630 hp. The same 100 kWh battery pack carries over, with a WLTP-rated range up to 364 miles, though EPA figures for the US market typically run lower than WLTP numbers.
An electronically controlled limited-slip rear differential comes standard on the GTS, a genuine handling upgrade over the 4S, paired with a sport-tuned air suspension riding at a reduced standard ride height for sharper cornering. A Track driving mode, also found on the Taycan, actively cools the battery to help sustain repeated hard driving without the performance falloff regular EVs can experience. Two GTS-specific sound profiles replace the traditional exhaust note buyers would expect from a combustion GTS, while black exterior accents, tinted Matrix LED headlights, and a Race-Tex and leather interior with 18-way sport seats round out the visual and material upgrades that distinguish this from lesser Macan Electric trims.
