The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid arrived for 2025 as the more performance-oriented sibling to the 4 E-Hybrid, sharing the same 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 architecture but tuned for considerably more output. The combustion engine alone makes 348 hp, and combined with the integrated electric motor, total system output reaches 536 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque, putting real distance between it and the standard 4 E-Hybrid's 463 hp.
That extra power translates directly into performance: 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph, genuinely quick numbers for a plug-in hybrid sedan built around efficiency as much as speed. The 25.9 kWh battery, shared across the E-Hybrid lineup, provides roughly 28 miles of EPA-estimated electric-only range, and the same 11 kW onboard charger allows a full charge in as little as two and a half hours. Porsche Traction Management all-wheel drive and the eight-speed PDK transmission come standard, with Sport Chrono included for launch control and additional drive modes.
Visually, the 4S E-Hybrid steps up from the base 4 E-Hybrid with standard 20-inch Panamera AeroDesign wheels, red brake calipers, and silver sport tailpipes, giving it a more assertive presence that better matches its position in the lineup. As with the 4 E-Hybrid, rear-axle steering and Porsche Active Ride remain optional rather than standard, reserved as standard equipment for the Turbo S E-Hybrid at the top of the range.
