Porsche Sport Exhaust - Cayman 981 SKU: SKUC981CPSE

Just got it today and installed it today. It's how the car should sound from factory. It now sounds like what a Cayman looks like. 1.Louder 2. More bass. Turn off sport mode for a more civil experience. I noticed Porsche updated the parts since 2013, the heat shield on the muffler pipes now has steel ties probably the shields were detaching on the original design. The 987 parts numbers were changed to 981 parts numbers. Not sure what the exhaust looked like in 2014 but the coating seems different for corrosion resistance. Some of the stamping has changed a bit. The parts were made in 2024 and 2025 which is great Porsche is still making some things for the old 981 platform. I did use the original OEM oval stock exhaust tip that came with the car, it fits perfeclty fine over the 2 pipes. Not sure why the install guide says you must have the dual tips other than you cannot get the oval exhaust tip on a PSE exhaust from factory 10 years ago. I might change that out too one day.

Outstanding Product. Love the flexibility of having the car quiet when necessary and more aggressive when I want it to be, which is most of the time. The service at Suncoast was terrific! The sales person was very helpful in answering all my questions. Great pricing in the exhaust. I will definitely be doing more business here.

I was thinking of going with an aftermarket exhaust but wanted the ability to maintain the stock exhaust tones for driving through my neighborhood with the push of a button. This exhaust sounds great. My car sounds alive! It can be activated by either pushing the PSE button or putting it into sports mode. The sound is beautiful. No drone, nice burble. Installation was pretty straight forward. The only thing you need to do is take it to either your Porsche dealer or to an independent Porsche shop that has the laptop to have the car recognize the installation of the button.
