Oil Filter Wrench SKU: SKU99XWRENCH

Bought this to change my own oil on my 981 boxster. Fits the oil filter fine. The oil filter sits way up into the engine area, so you'll need a long extension to connect this to your ratchet (3/8" drive).

I purchased a different oil filter wrench and it did not fit properly, the depth of the filter portion was not long enough. I purchased this oil filter which has a deep socket and fits perfectly. I had no issues removing the filter with this product. I would recommend.

Bought two. Cut off 3/8" off one to gain clearance as 981 Boxster has a engine brace that limits angle. The new cup wrench is best to "break free" the oil filter plastic holder then apply cut off wrench to wiggle oil filter out. By the way a 1 1/16" standard socket fits as well as the 27mm metric socket.
