Sport Spoiler Lip - 991 SKU: SKU991SSL

This part is simple to install but it is not very durable and can come loose very easily. I have had it on my vehicle for about 2 weeks and it is already showing a good bit of wear and tear because it scrapes almost everything. Probably was not a good purchase for me.

If you drive a Porsche, you know that front splitters take some abuse and need to be replaced periodically. I just bought a replacement for my 2012 and realized how thoughtful Porsche was in designing this. It's not brittle like fiberglass or carbon fiber, it doesn't cost a fortune, and you don't even need any tools to install it. Super easy to install, takes about 3 minutes. Looks so much better than the factory unit I wonder why Porsche didn't fit these as standard from the factory? A nice, inexpensive upgrade you will enjoy that you can install yourself.

This is a high-quality part that took no more than five minutes to install. I have a 2014 991 Carrera C2. With a firm tug (forward and downward) on either end, then clip-by-clip along its length, the stock spoiler lip was unclipped and pulled easily away. The Suncoast/Porsche PASM lip was then aligned, slid and snapped into position with no trouble at all. It's a perfectly seamless, snug fit that really improves the look of the base car. $200.00 well spent, I'd say.

Excellent - this is a bona fide Porsche part and it installed perfectly fine - you can find info on the internet to describe the installation and removal of the original standard Carrera spoiler lip. The old one has 2 screws on the side - the new one just clips on - no screw required - but make sure you don't break any clips on the installation - since then it can work loose and rattle - its looks great and helps with handling

The lip arrived in perfect shape and took all of 15 minutes to install. You can find instructions for installation on various forums but it really just comes down to pulling the old lip off and then the new one pops on. Simple. It adds a nice look to the front.
